If there's one thing Cristine Reyes learned from the intrigues she's been involved with the past few months, it's that she should learn how to control her emotions.
Kasi akala nung iba matanda na ako dahil sa image ko," Cristine said during her solo press conference for her upcoming movie "Tumbok" on Wednesday, April 13.
But even if Cristine admitted to trying to change her attitude and her image, she clarified that it's not because of her boyfriend, Rayver Cruz.
Unti-unti, kumikilos dalaga na," she said.
Cristine described her relationship with Rayver right now as "okay naman, steady lang."
Relationship with Sarah
For the first time, the actress answered questions about reconciling with Sarah Geronimo. Sarah had approached and hugged her at the backstage of "ASAP Rocks" last month to end their three-month rift over the singer's remarks during the show's rehearsal.
Asked by the entertainment press what she felt when Sarah approached her to reconcile, she said: "Natuwa naman ako kasi finally, okay na lahat." But when asked if she ready to patch things up with Sarah that day, Cristine begged off from further comment on the backstage encounter with the pop star saying she did not want to make it appear that she was using Sarah to promote her film.
How are Cristine and Sarah after the reconciliation?
"Pag nagkikita kami, hi-hello lang. Batian, ganun. So pag nagkikita, yung nadadaanan lang. Or sa back stage, sa gilid," Cristine said.
Cristine and Sarah are both talents of Viva. Is she willing to work with Sarah in the future?
"Oo naman," Cristine said.
New movie
Her upcoming movie, "Tumbok," comes after the ABS-CBN primetime show "Kristine." According to the young actress, she feels more excited than pressured topbilling this project.
Although "Tumbok" is not her first horror film (she starred in "Patient X" with Richard Gutierrez), it is Cristine's first time to topbill a movie in the said genre.
