(SPOT.ph) A former promoter of American boxer "Sugar" Shane Mosley, Cedric Kushner, claimed that Mosley will beat Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao in their welterweight bout on May 7 (US time) in Las Vegas, reports ABS-CBN News.
"He's (Mosley) been one of the great fighters of his generation and he retains his power. I also think that this might be the time, might be the fight where as great as Manny is and has been, he's going to be impacted negatively from fighting a bigger man," ABS-CBN News quoted Kushner's interview with Examiner.com published last week.
"On the other hand, you ask me if Pacquiao can stop Shane? I'd say that Manny can stop anybody but Shane takes a hell of a rap, he's always had a solid chin. Sure, Manny is more than capable of hurting Shane but the opposite is also true," the head of Cedric Kushner Promotions Ltd. said.
Kushner has spent 30 years in the boxing industry and trained Mosley when he was in the flyweight division.
